Tom Lea Giving Circle and Destination Weekend
Cultivating an appreciation of the art, character, and legacy of Tom Lea through curricula, public programs, exhibits, and publications, the Institute shares Lea’s legacy to inspire present and future generations.

The Giving Circle is an exclusive, invitation-only event aimed at supporting our annual Tom Lea Celebration, a series of 17 events spanning Texas, and the ongoing development of the Tom Lea Trail mobile website. Our objective is to raise $175,000 to foster a deep appreciation for the Southwest and its rich binational history, as depicted through the life and work of Tom Lea.
This is an exclusive gathering of the Tom Lea Institute $2500 per couple/individual must be paid to attend the destination weekend.

Saturday, September. 21 9:00-1:00pm Juárez Mexico Walking tour Depart Plaza Hotel Lobby Walk down El Paso Street, crossing the Santa Fe Bridge to Avenida Juárez in historic Paso del Norte. Breakfast at La Nueva Central. Visit historic mission, Presidencia Municipal, and Cuahutemoc Market before returning to El Paso. Juarez, Mexico Walking Tour Tour is extensive 3.2 miles round trip 4 hours. Not advised for people with limited mobility.
