About the event
🎉Join us on JAN 24 at 10:00 AM at the UTEP Centenial Museum for the opening reception of Tom Lea: Brushtrokes from the frontlines of WWII Exhibit.
🖼️ Experience thirty-six framed prints depicting scenes of World War II that Lea captured while working as LIFE magazine's first Accredited War Artist-Correspondent.
🖼️During this reception, we will feature never-before-seen original sketchbooks and items from Tom Lea's WWII service, as well as a variety of knowledgeable speakers.
🥗The Reception will also include light breakfast-themed bites.
🎨Lea’s illustrations—drawn from the frontlines of four major theaters of war—capture the enduring strength of the human spirit. Through this unique collaboration, we honor those who have served throughout history.
